The inspiration for the Christian Compass Cross came from a Sunday school lesson that examined the crucifixions of Christ and the two criminals next to Him. See Luke Chapter 23. One criminal refused to see Jesus for who He was – the Messiah, the Redeemer. The other criminal saw Jesus as the way to heaven. Jesus told that criminal that he would be with Him in paradise that very day. Those words confirmed once again that Jesus, the Son of God, was indeed whom He said He was – the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
From that vision a picture of the Cross was drawn showing those very words as the Christian’s compass, always pointing us to heaven and additionally reminding us that our sins are cast as far as the East is from the West.
It is our sincere desire and prayer that this unique Cross will guide your path in life and always keep you pointed to your ultimate destination – Heaven.
May the Lord bless and guide your path!
